Dear Melissa,
Let me echo your sentiments, I am honored to hear from you as well. Thanks, I actually didn't view the painting long enough to see that it is already named. There were a few people standing in front while I was ordering coffee. But from the instant I saw your beautiful work of art I was impressed, to say the least. Somehow this little flower made my day.
I write in my spare time. I want to publish my works one day in a collection titled: Thoughts on Thoughts. I write about life, people, God, peace, philosophy, and art, of course! Some works take time to develop, let alone writing them. Others I can
write in five minutes, such as this one.
Yes!, I would love to see a poster or larger frame size of the one on display. The one at Starbucks is ideal for office refresment. However, for home I would rather have one that can put a smile on my wall, as you state. I have been thinking about what I can put there. Presto! the beautiful, little, yellow, flower should work. Keep me in mind for this one. It's the one project I will want to continue to follow through, until the comes when I can properly display it in my home. In the meantime here's one "Thought" you'll really like. It is simply tiltled Art!
Melissa, you're the best. I have struck gold in you. Enjoy. Valentine
ART
Art,
it can be arousing,
it can be shocking,
Repulsive,
and unacceptable.
Art,
it is creative,
it is sacred,
Erotic,
and destructive.
There are no rules to follow,
no trends, no styles,
Art for art’s sake is what
makes it art.
Art,
it can create idealism,
it can lead to radicalism,
Liberalism,
and hedonism.
Art,
it can be conservative,
it can be natural,
Anti-social,
and non-conforming.
Anything and Everything goes.
Better to have something down
than to let the thought
wane away into thin air.
Art,
it is true beauty.
In its genuine form,
it is absolute.
Truth.
Undated

Interesting. I find this all facinating. Cheers!
